Top Bowmoor Success at the Classic and Vintage Dinghy Nationals
Over thirty boats competed in the Classic and Vintage Dinghy Nationals at Clywedog Sailing Club, from as far afield as Aberdeen and Cornwall, and including David and Helen Rollinson from Bowmoor.

The racing is all handicap racing using with the numbers adjusted to favour the older more original boats - maybe we should try that for the Solos and Phantoms at Bowmoor.

Sunday and Monday saw the serious racing in shifty light conditions in which the OK of David Rollinson took all but one of the six races allowing him to take the trophy for the 3rd year in a row.

Overall Results for the Old Fleet (boats not sailors), were:

1st OK 1944, David Rollinson (Bowmoor)
2nd Hornet 2070, R Devereux and C Mulholland (Shearwater)
3rd Pegasus 251, Helen Rollinson and Sam Tozer (Bowmoor)

Top Bowmoor Clubhouse Opens
4th March 2007
After nearly 2 years of temporary accomodation the new Bowmoor clubhouse opened for business.

On 15th May 2005 the boathouse was opened as a temporary clubhouse while planning permission and work was done to create the permanent home for Bowmoor.

On March 3rd 2007 the boathouse was reverted to its proper function and the final touchs put to the new clubhouse ready for sailing the following day.

There is still plenty to do, but now it will be possible to hold functions. Note the quiz night on March 17th.
